Audi has the third SUV belonging to the range Q, Q3 call and available at dealerships in Europe from June with a base price of 29,900 €. The Audi Q3 is born from the PQ35 platform (shared with the Volkswagen Tiguan) and measures 4:39 m long, 1.83 wide and 1.60 in height, thus revealing a 24 cm shorter, narrower than 5.3 cm and 5 cm lower than to Q5.
The stylistic inspiration is provided by the Cross Coupe Quattro prototype, shown at the exposition of Shanhgai (edition 2007). Between concept and production car there is a marked difference rather than the front thanks to the introduction of the hexagonal radiator cover, while the rear volume is characterized by the presence of the upright and tilted somewhat to the large overhang.
Nice but the side, thanks to rising rib joining the front and rear light clusters. The Audi Q3 will be available with the 2.0 TFSI and 2.0 TDI engines, in four different power. The low-end petrol delivers 170 hp, which increased by 41 units to the most powerful version. This provides an acceleration 0-100 km / h in 6.9 seconds for a top speed of 230 km / h.
The two diesel engines deliver 140 and 177 hp, for a minimum consumption of 5.2 liters per hundred kilometers. Four-wheel drive is available in conjunction with all units, while the seven-speed DSG gearbox is offered only for the 2.0 TFSI 211 hp and 177 hp 2.0 TDI. The interior welcomes five people and of course hold 460/1.365 liters in the trunk.
The alloy wheels have a diameter of between 16 and 19 inches. The Q3 will be assembled in the Spanish plant in Martorell, near Barcelona. The official debut is expected at the show in Shanghai.
